What is ROOTED?

ROOTED is Cosmopolitan Baptist Church’s Discipleship Academy, led by Pastor Raymond Williams. Through 12 foundational lessons, participants will explore what it means to know God, follow Jesus, grow in Christ, and live out their faith with purpose.

Whether you’re new to the Christian faith, have been walking with Christ for years, or simply have questions you’ve never had the opportunity to ask, ROOTED is a place to learn, ask questions, and build a stronger foundation in Christ.

ROOTED doesn’t end when the monthly session does.

Questions often come up during ROOTED that deserve more time, more Scripture, and a deeper conversation. Pastor Raymond continues the discussion through additional videos that respond to questions raised during class, explore topics more deeply, and help us continue growing between sessions.

ROOTED sessions are not recorded. These videos are an extension of the conversation, not a replacement for the in-person experience.
