On behalf of the Cosmopolitan Baptist Church GJ Houston Scholarship Committee, we are proud and excited to announce the opening of our 2026 scholarship application period. This is a significant milestone in your life, and we celebrate your dedication, perseverance, and achievements as you prepare to step into your next chapter.

Scholarship Opportunities
Applicants may be awarded one of the following scholarships. Awards are not paid as a lump sum and are distributed over time based on continued eligibility.
Four-Year Award
Distributed over four (4) years.
Two-Year Award
Distributed over two (2) years.
One-Year Award
Distributed over one (1) year.
Basic Eligibility
- Must be a graduating senior in the Class of 2026
- Must complete and submit the scholarship application by May 24, 2026
- Must provide all required application materials
- Must participate in an interview if selected to move forward
Application Requirements
Required Documents
- High School Transcript (9th–12th grade, including first semester of senior year)
- Three Letters of Recommendation
- Personal letter describing goals, aspirations, and future plans
- School letter from a teacher, counselor, or school administrator
- Church letter from a ministry leader on official letterhead
Additional Information
- Volunteer Service Hours (if applicable)
Include documentation or proof of hours completed. - Employment/Internship Information (if applicable)
Include verification or supporting documentation. - Extracurricular Activities (if applicable)
Sports, clubs, organizations, leadership roles, etc. - Church Involvement (if applicable)
List ministries and areas where you actively serve or participate.

Applicants selected to move forward will be invited to participate in an interview.
